IDA Computational Argumentation Seminar

8th of July 2pm – 4pm (QDNT 055)

organised by Federico Castagna & Isabel Sassoon

This seminar will provide an overview of current research in Computational Argumentation, an area at the intersection of artificial intelligence and reasoning. The session will consist of a series of short talks by PhD students and academics highlighting recent work on computational argumentation. Topics will cover a range of areas, including how argumentation can enhance LLM “reasoning”, online discourse and enthymemes, Argumentation schemes for strategy and AI-driven reasoning.

The seminar is intended for a broad audience with an interest in AI and data science; no prior knowledge of argumentation is assumed.
